Why give?

We are a community-based organization rooted firmly in the love of gardening, and we are separate from town committees and formal municipal government structures. Although we are granted permission to establish gardens throughout the villages of Hartford, VT, we are not directly funded by the town. We are funded by private donations from individuals and businesses and we depend on them to ensure our colorful gardens continue to flourish.

Hartford Garden Friends is grateful for all generous donations received in the past and looks forward to continued contributions from residents and businesses of Hartford and surrounding the communities who wish to continue supporting our efforts.
